About the house
Tom built the cabin from larch felled on the farm, and it is small on purpose: one room with a proper double bed, a stove, a tiny kitchen and a shower room. Big windows face the tarn, so you wake up to the water.
The cedar bath on the deck fills from a wood-fired boiler. Light it after your walk and it is ready by the time the kettle has boiled twice.
